We live in an evolving world, with a growing awareness of our impact on this planet. Our goal is simple: to live in harmony with our environment, our community, and ourselves. To accomplish this, the Wind Walker Ecovillage draws upon the model of a sustainable and intentional community using eco-friendly building practices. Participants use "love in action" to co-create eco-dwellings, clothing, community gardens, permaculture, artistic expressions, environmental awareness, spiritual awareness, and the collective education and support of our local and global village.

Guest Ranch, Learning Center, Eco-village all in One
The Wind Walker Guest Ranch has operated as an award winning and family owned dude ranch since 1994. The guest ranch offers country western activities like: horseback riding, camping, skeet shooting, history hikes, sacred ground hikes, medicine wheel ceremonies, sweat lodge ceremonies and spa services. There are also off site activities like fishing, skiing, kite boarding and visiting natural hot springs. Learn more about the Wind Walker Ranch experience.
The Wind Walker Learning Center offers additional activities like Tai Chi, meditation, massage, alternative healing practices and kids programs. The Learning Center also provides workshops on sustainable living principles and has a community outreach program and performance troupe called Projek Lyfe. The Learning Center hosts festivals like Redirection, Evolution, and Heaven on Earth, and retreats like Pack and Pamper Week, Queer Spirit Retreat, and Raw Food Pot-lucks that both entertain and educate participants. Learn more about our Wind Walker Learning Center.
The Wind Walker Ecovillage is an opportunity to put eco-friendly concepts into concrete action. We are learning as we go, and teaching others what we've learned. We are currently accepting applications to our eco-village, for those who are interested in building earthships, yurts, tee-pees, green houses, community gardens, permaculture, and a sustainable intentinal community of creative and open-minded participants. As of now, we are not off the proverbial "grid," but we're working towards that goal through our eco-village building projects.
