Wind Walker’s community is a living form, consciously connected to the energy of the land, deriving sustenance from it while replenishing it in kind. As a living community, we continue to evolve, adapt, teach and learn. In this way, we find harmony and balance with our environment, with one another, and within ourselves. There are three interrelated aspects to our ecovillage: Social Organization: We take responsibility for ourselves, and we share the responsibility for our community. This includes how we build and grow our village, how we organize and collaborate, and how we envision our impact on the world. By teaching our children as a village, we open up to sharing our knowledge and improving our collective teaching skills. By cooperating and celebrating life together we help one another move forward with love and gratitude. Spiritual Diversity: We honor "love in action," for with love comes light, and with light comes inspiration, and with inspiration comes our sacred truth. Divine love opens us to a place where our hearts can heal and co-create. The love we choose to embody is unconditional and all encompassing. Here you can be yourself in perfect wholeness. We create peace on earth and within outselves as we move from the love of power to the power of love. Ecological Balance: Our village uses eco-friendly dwellings with renewable energy, fresh local foods, and a community garden based on permaculture principles. We honor the plants and animals that share this beautiful land with us.
